Your cookies look delicious and these two look like they are having a great time! These are some of those memories they will treasure!

Time Change

I know the time changed a couple of weeks ago. I'm still dragging around trying to catch up on that hour that I "lost"! I absolutely love the longer time the sun is up in the sky! It's so much easier to still get home before dark and stay out until after 6 pm! I have always enjoyed being home and all nested in when the sun went down, and this just makes that easier for me not to keep worrying about how soon it's going to be dark.

Changing Times

My mother has now moved back to her hometown. It's not very far from where I live, and I'm so glad she is closer to me! One of my sister's and her husband packed and unpacked so much stuff, I'd be surprised if there was very much left in her home of 47 years in Irving, but I'm sure there is so much that didn't make it to the new place yet. While I was visiting with my nieces and my mother during the move-in, I watched Spring happen. The trees burst out with new life and the irises in the yard popped open!

Trying to "blog" again!

It's hard to believe that I started my blog almost 3 years ago! I guess I'm not very chatty when I get on the computer. I've been reading friend's blogs and thought I'd try it again.

Spring is here and I'm so ready for Spring Break! That is one of my favorite things about being a teacher! Even if I could have off for other holidays during the year, everyone doesn't get a Spring Break!

This Spring Break we will be moving my Mom down so she will be living closer to me. I'm excited and ready for her to be near.

Summer is almost over!

I can hardly believe that summer is almost over, and I have gotten so little accomplished! It's been relaxing though, and educational (many workshops). Now I am anxiously awaiting the birth of a new niece.....any day now! I am prepared to go and visit with them for a few days. I hope it's before my "real" job begins with a new group of students, as school will start before you know it.

Summer is finally here!

The last days of school are over and done. Now comes the packing up and regrouping for next year. There are always changes that need to be made, things you don't want to do again, and new things to add. I worked hard all year going to the regional science collaborative in Bryan to learn all the new stuff I could about teaching science, so there are many new things I'd like to try in the coming year.

Learning more about this!

I learned how to add photos. Now I just need to find photos I'd like to share with everyone. Each day is a learning process.
